Ludhakana Sarpasan / Ludkan Sarpasana: Rolling Snake Pose – Dynamic variation of the traditional Sarpasana (Snake Pose).
Ludhakana Sarpasan: Technique
Lie down flat on the stomach, keeping the legs straight and feet together. Bring the arms behind the back. Interlock the fingers and place the hands on the top of the buttocks. Inhale and raise the head, chest and legs simultaneously. Now start rolling on the floor towards left and the right side of the body as long as the breath is held inside. If a need of a breath is felt, it may be changed stopping for a while on either side. Legs and arms should remain straight during the practice of this asan. Concentrate on holding of breath and rolling of the body. After completing the rounds as per your capacity, return to the starting position and take rest in Shithilasan.
