Most two finger push ups in one minute carrying a 40 lb pack

Karachi, Pakistan – July 26, 2017 – Wearing a 40 lb (18kg) rucksack, Irfan Mehsood, a 27-year-old Pakistani youth from Dera Ismail Khan, completed 22 correctly performed push-ups using just his thumbs, thus setting the new world record for the Most two finger push ups (two arms) in one minute carrying a 40 lb pack.

The Guinness World Records world record for the most thumb push ups in one minute is 35, achieved by Irfan Mehsood (Pakistan) in Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa, Pakistan, on 22 May 2017.

Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the most people performing push ups simultaneously; it is 1,645, achieved by Ajman Municipality & Planning Department (UAE) in Ajman, United Arab Emirates, on 16 February 2017.

Irfan Mehsood, 27-year-old Pakistani youth from Dera Ismail Khan, breaks the Guinness World Record for managing to do maximum number of push-ups on two fingers in a minute.

He achieved this feat while carrying 18 Kg weight on his back. This is Irfan’s 8th world record.

Irfan’s other Guinness World Records tiles include Most thumb push-ups (both arms) in one minute (33), Most Bo staff strikes in one minute (216) and Most full contact knee strikes in one minute (alternate legs) (83).

Irfan has been practicing Kung Fu ever since he was a teenager and now intends to promote the same. He is a fan of the famous martial artist and actor Jackie Chan.

He even runs a martial arts academy by the name ‘Jackie Chan Academy’. In this academy, he trains 70 teenagers free-of-cost.
