The Guinness World Records world record for the largest chocolate sculpture weighs 10,187 kg (22,458.49 lbs) and was created by Aficion Chocolate (China) in Jiaxing, Zhejiang, China on 30 September 2015. The sculpture was in the shape of a building and measured 4.08 m x 2.39 m x 2.02 m.

Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the largest chocolate truffle; it weighs 1,074.33 kg (2,368 lb 8 oz), and was achieved by Sweet Shop USA (USA) in Mount Pleasant, Texas, USA, on 21 April 2017.

One of the La Madeline au Truffe’s primary ingredients is a rare French Perigord truffle that accounts for its high price.

The expensive truffle is then surrounded by a ganache of heavy cream, sugar, truffle oil and vanilla coated in 70% Valrhona dark chocolate and rolled in fine cocoa powder.

Each portion of the record-breaking chocolate is crafted with the utmost care, including the ganache which is made with fresh cream and fresh butter.
