How To Make Peanut Butter Cupcakes

Recipe 1


  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • ¾ cup Milk
  • ½ cup Peanut Butter
  • 1/3 cup Shortening
  • 1½ cups Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
  • ½ tsp Salt


  • Take a medium bowl and combine together peanut butter, shortening and vanilla essence. Beat well to cream the ingredients.
  • Add sugar and beat till the mixture gets light and fluffy.
  • Add eggs, one at a time. Beat well after each addition.
  • Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
  • Add the flour mixture to the egg mixture alternating with milk.
  • Pour the batter in paper bake cups filling only till half.
  • Bake the cup cakes at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes.
  • Remove and frost the cupcakes with peanut butter.

  • 1/3 cup Shortening
  • 1/3 cup Peanut Butter
  • 1¼ cups packed Brown Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1¾ cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1¾ tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 16 miniature Peanut Butter Cups


  • Mix shortening, peanut butter and brown sugar in a large mixing bowl. Beat well till the mixture turns light and fluffy.
  • Add eggs, one at a time. Beat the mixture after each egg addition.
  • Add vanilla extract and stir well.
  • Sieve flour, baking powder and salt together in a separate bowl.
  • Add the flour mixture to the creamed mixture alternating with milk.
  • Take paper-lined muffin cups and pour the batter to fill up to ¼.
  • Carefully press a peanut butter cup in the center of the batter till the top edge gets even with the batter.
  • Bake the cup cakes at 350 degrees F for about 22 to 24 minutes till a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • Cool the cupcakes in the pan for 10 minutes.
  • Remove from the pans and cool on wire racks completely.
