How To Make Muffin Tin Crayons

Method 1

Things Required

  • Cupcake / Muffin Pan Cups
  • Non-toxic Broken Crayons
  • Vegetable Oil
  • Toothpick

How to Make

  • Preheat oven to 275 °F.
  • Remove the paper labels from the crayon pieces. Ensure that the crayons are non-toxic.
  • Pour ¼ teaspoon of vegetable oil into each muffin pan cup.
  • Place the broken crayons into the prepared muffin pan cups such that they fill up to 1/3 of the cup.
  • Bake the crayons in the oven for about 8 minutes.
  • Keep a look at the crayons as the melt very quickly.
  • Just when the crayons start to melt, remove them from the oven and gently stir each mixture with a toothpick to blend different colors together.
  • Allow the crayons to cool completely.
  • Tap on the backside of the muffin pans and pop up the crayons from the pans.
  • Your muffin tin crayons are ready to use.

Things Required

  • Old Crayons
  • Foil Muffin Papers (multi-colored)
How to Make
  • Arrange the muffin papers on a cookie sheet or in a muffin tin.
  • Place in the old crayons into muffin papers according to their color.
  • Bake the crayons in the oven at 200-300 °F till the crayons start melting.
  • Remove form oven and allow the crayons to cool down completely.
  • Carefully, peel the foil paper from the crayons.
  • Muffin tin crayons are ready for coloring.
