Durga Puja, the biggest festival in Bengal starts on September 26 this year. The celebration will continue for the next five days culminating with the idol immersion ceremony on Dasami (Dussehra). Tridhara Sammilani Durga Puja in South Kolkata’s focus is on the environment and an immediacy to address issues that threaten it. This year’s theme is titled ‘Nature destroyed by Urbanisation.’
