Marking the beginning of the solar new year, a Sikh family takes a holy dip on the occasion of Baisakhi at Bangla Sahib Gurudwara. One of the most popular festivals, Baisakhi has a special significance for Sikhs as on this day in 1699, the tenth guru, Guru Gobind Singh Ji formed the order of the Khalsa.
