Why can't coconut and palm trees branch out?

Why can’t coconut and palm trees branch out?

Coconut and palm trees grow in height. They have something called sclerenchyma fibres present in their trunks. It is a type of plant tissue which grows vertically and does not allow the coconut and palm trees to branch out.

Funny Logic

  • Nature has allowed them to grow tall, but has divested them from them the privilege of branching out.
  • To save energy to grow to great heights.
  • Just like the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) which has no branches.
