What are the various types of programmes?

Reality shows can be further divided in various types. The most popular version is shows in a game-show format, like ‘The Apprentice’, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire’, “The Idol series” etc. The other popular versions are those located in special living environments like ‘Temptation Is land’, Big Brother’ and our own ‘Big Boss’. Dating-based competitions are also popular. Some shows like ‘COPS’ are based on activities of a particular profession. Then there are shows with hidden cameras in which a prank is played on the cast members.
