Drought Images: A drought is a period of below-average precipitation in a given region, resulting in prolonged shortages in its water supply, whether atmospheric, surface water or ground water. A drought can last for months or years, or may be declared after as few as 15 days. Here we have collection of images displaying drought situations across the world.
Drought is generally defined as ‘a deficiency of precipitation over an extended period of time (usually a season or more), resulting in a water shortage.’
