What is the Sphinx Award?

There are several types of Sphinx awards. The most popular one is given by Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity for contribution to social service. President Stephen C Ainlay of Union College recently received the Sphinx Award from the brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity for his contributions to the Union community. Another Sphinx Award is given in Coventry for outstanding performance in the local soccer league.
