In April Spring has really come,
The sky is blue, the air is warm,
The daisies are scattered on the ground,
And bird-song’s a delightful sound.
The birds are busy day and night,
Building their nests with all their might,
And when at last their work is done,
The eggs all hatch out, one by one.
Then finally wakes the sleeping bear,
He shakes his coat and leaves his lair,
He lumbers out in the April sun,
In mountain stream he’ll have some fun!
