The news of the two expecting their first child was announced by Amitabh Bachchan on Twitter. The couple welcomed their daughter, Aaradhya on November 16, 2011

The two had worked together in Dhai Akshar Prem Ke (2000) and Kuch Naa Kaho (2003), but it was during the shooting of Dhoom 2 (2006) that cupid struck the two and love blossomed.
