Vrushakarma: Movie Overview
Vrushakarma is one of the most anticipated films currently in the making. The movie stars Naga Chaitanya in the lead role and is directed by Karthik Dandu, with Meenakshi Chaudhary playing the female lead.
Touted to be a mythological thriller, the film is being planned for a pan-Indian release. Satya, Jayaram, and others will be seen in key supporting roles. The project is backed by BVSN Prasad under the Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra banner and presented by Sukumar Writings. Filmmaker Sukumar is overseeing the screenplay, while Ajaneesh B Loknath (of Kantara fame) is composing the music. Sri Nagendra Tangala is handling the production design.
Directed by Karthik Dandu, the video introduces the dark and supernatural world in which the story is set. Sparsh Shrivastava’s character seems to be playing the main antagonist’s body. His character is seen making mysterious and haunting drawings and later seems to be possessed by sinister powers. Sparsh’s character is seen performing dark magic to target a man. Even though the victim is safe inside his house, the evil force manages to reach him.
As the video progresses, showing the atrocities, a voice comes over which suggests that whenever a powerful supernatural force awakens, destiny chooses a protector called a Vrushakarma to stop it. Naga Chaitanya’s character seems to be on a treasure hunt. Soon after, Naga Chaitanya is introduced as the Yuva Samrat chosen to face this evil. A final glimpse shows Naga Chaitanya entering a battle with evil.
The video also shows other characters important in the film. The female lead, Meenakshi Chaudhary, can be seen. Veteran actors Zarina Wahab and Jayaram also appear in the video. The makers described the film as a mythical spectacle set in a unique world. They wrote, “Welcome to the world of Vrushakarma, a mythical spectacle like never before starring Yuvasamrat Naga Chaitanya and Meenakshi Chaudhary.”
Ajaneesh B Loknath has composed the music. The cinematography is handled by Ragul D Herian, while Naveen Nooli is the editor. Sri Nagendra Tangala serves as the production designer.
