Announcement: Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced this day on 9 January 2022, on the occasion of Prakash Parv of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the Ministry of Education had issued a notification to celebrate it as ‘Veer Bal Diwas’.
Significance: The day is an occasion to honour the courage, determination and sacrifice of children for the nation, and it brings nationwide recognition to the glorious pages of Sikh history.
