Ethan Fisher, nine, managed to do 62 bounces on a space hopper over a line in a minute Ethan Fisher world record holderduring a holiday to Butlin's Skegness - setting the new world record for Most jumps on a space hopper in one minute.
The previous Guinness world record was 60.
Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the most bounces of a soap bubble: 88, achieved by Isaac Louie (USA) at Market Magic Shop in Seattle, Washington, USA.
His dad Richard, of Amherst Rise, Gateford, said: "He managed to do 62 bounces over a line and the previous record was 60."
This isn't Ethan's first space hopping record either.
The St John's School pupil took part in the largest ever space hopper race at Sheffield Don Valley Bowl last July, along with his dad, mum Anne and sister Ellie, 11.
Richard said: "It was over 200m and Ethan actually crossed the finished line first. It was organised by Yorkshire Cancer Research, Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity and Cavendish Cancer Care." |
