Hairdresser Damien Bennett of Peter Marks coloured 62 people green, white and orange in one day at the Style Club, Dublin 2, as part of the Shave Or Dye charity campaign - setting the new world record for the Most heads dyed in 24 hours by an individual.
The Guinness world record for the most hair dyed in 24 hours by a team - single location was 380 and was achieved by Schwarzkopf Professional and Sergio & Margarida Hair Salon in Lisbon, Portugal.
Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the most people with spray painted hair in a single location: 4,784 - at the Vodacom Sprayathon held at the Vodacom Tri-Nations game between South Africa and New Zealand at Loftus Versveld Stadium, Pretoria, South Africa.
And 142 brave peoplenhad their heads shaved as part of the Shave Or Dye Campaign for the Irish Cancer Society, which has raised $300,000 during the campaign.
Radio DJ Ray D'Arcy announced live on air that they had succeeded in their epic hair-dyeing marathon to enter the 'Book of World Records'.
