Led by Stratford University Director of Culinary Arts and Hospitality, Chef Raimund Hofmeister and Certified Master Pastry Chef and Stratford instructor, Jan Bandula, Stratford’s Tallest Pyramid attempt called for 250 sheet cakes, 500 pounds of icing, and 400 pounds of raspberry jam.

This monumental task included Stratford Master Chefs, Culinary instructors, and students from Stratford’s Baltimore MD, and Alexandria, and Woodbridge VA campuses. Instructors and students of the Stratford Hospitality Management program assisted with selling tickets for cake sales and serving the cake.

Proceeds from the cake sales benefited the Fisher House organization sites at Ft. Belvoir and Richmond VA. Unsold portions were donated to Fisher House; Prince William County Police and Fire and Rescue; and The Good News Community Kitchen.

All proceeds went to benefit the Fisher House Foundation locations at Ft. Belvoir, VA and Richmond, VA.
