Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the largest gathering of people wearing helmets; it is 3,929 and was achieved by Ministry of Interior (UAE) at Baniyas stadium, in Abu Dhabi, UAE, on 13 March 2016.
A total of 511 participants took part in the record breaking attempt, which is more than the current Guinness World Records world record, which stands at 465 people.
The participants stood in a cordoned off area in rows of 25 for five minutes and 10 seconds to ensure the record attempt and to be accurately counted, The South Wales Argus reports.
Children as young as two years old took part in the attempt, donning a mini set of deely boppers, and spirits were high as enthusiastic stewards from Lloyds Banking helped out by singing songs.
