Atlanta, Georgia, USA – June 23, 2017 – Parker Hannon, a 15-year-old from Roswell High in Georgia, set a world record for Most American Football field goals made in one minute, by making 31 field goals from 20 yards out in 60 seconds at the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta.

Hannon broke the the previous world record of 28, which was set by Adam Vinatieri during Super Bowl week back in February. He broke the record at the College Football Hall of Fame surrounded by supporters. 

The Guinness World Records world record for the most American Football field goals successfully kicked in 24 hours is 1,000 and was achieved by Craig Pinto (USA) at Theodore Roosevelt Park, Oyster Bay, New York, USA, on 09 October 2011.

Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the most American Football field goals successfully kicked in 12 hours; it is 717 and was achieved by Craig Pinto (USA) at the Bethpage Football Field, New York, USA, on 10 October 2010.

Hannon broke the Guinness Book of World Records mark set by four-time Super Bowl champion Adam Vinatieri during Super Bowl week in February.

“Once someone beats it, records are meant to be broken,” Hannon said. “I’ll come back and beat it again.”

The event raised money for the Pat Tillman Foundation and Kids & Pros, a Georgia-based football development organization, The USA Today reports.
