The Guinness World Records world record for the largest parade of fire trucks consisted of 220 vehicles and was achieved by the Atoka Fire Department (USA) in Atoka, Oklahoma, USA, on 20 January 2012.

Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the largest parade of trucks consists of 416 vehicles which took part in a convoy organized by VTL (Netherlands) in Dronten, Netherlands, on 6 November 2004.

The float’s theme depicts a beach side paradise complete with eight surfing dogs. During the parade an onboard wave machine will generate waves on which the dogs will surf the length of a 90-foot long tank containing over 8,000 gallons of water.

This giant float will be powered by a Built Ford Tough 6.8 liter V10 gasoline engine. The driver will sit deep in the bowels of the float and rely on a navigator sitting atop the float to relay directions to him as he steers down the parade route.

The previous Guinness world record was set in 2012 with a 116-foot, 50-ton, surfing dog float sponsored by Natural Balance.
