Longest Beaded Art

Kuantan City, Malaysia – September 29, 2017 – Mr. Ab Majid Ab Rahman from PMC Pahang, Cherating, Pahang, has made an 17.8-m long (and 1 m width) beaded art, tied each other by strings with variety of colours and motives, which sets the new world record for the Longest beaded Art.

The art was displayed at PMC gallery, Cherating, one of the “well known beautiful tourism beach in the world”.

A surveyor from SIRIM Standard Technology Malaysia, namely Mohd Faiz, came and measured , using Optical observation STHT 30696, he found that exact lenght is 17.78 m, setting the new world record for The Longest Beaded Art.

“I will send my National Gallery Kuala Lumpur Director to discuss with you at Cherating, to bring this art to National Gallery for Government Of Malaysia, for the Nation” wrote Ex-The Minister Of Tourism Malaysia- Dato Seri Rais Yatim.

“I hope success to you and Family (selamat maju jaya). wrote Ex Malaysia’s Prime Minister- Tun Abdullah Hj Ahmad Badawi.

I’ve never seen a very long art like this at any place, during my travel all over the world since I’m trainer for Petronas Malaysia. This is true extraordinary work, world record! said Mohd Khalid- Director of Petronas Training center, Kuala Terengganu – he also one of the witness.
