UK Guinness World Records: Largest Exercise Ball Class

STRATFORD, UK – July 26, 2016 – Yoghurt brand Müllerlight set a new record for the largest exercise ball class with help from Team GB Olympians and members of the public; more than 391 participants joined in the 30 minute class to break the Guinness world record and make exercise ball history.

The Guinness World Records world record for the largest exercise ball class consists of 391 participants and was achieved by Müllerlight Goodies (UK), at the Copper Box Arena, Stratford, UK, on 18 July 2016.

Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the largest pilates demonstration/class was achieved by 3,486 participants in an event organized by Denizli Municipality (Turkey) in Denizli, Turkey, on 2 June 2013.

The event celebrated the launch of Müllerlight Goodies’ new flavour, coconut yogurt with chocolate covered flakes, and Müller’s partnership with Team GB for Rio 2016, The Event Magazine reports.

Müller is an official partner of Team GB for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, and will be galvanising support on social media using #InTeamGBsCorner.

Müllerlight brand manager Sarah Newman said: “This is the first time Müller has broken a Guinness World Record and we are thrilled to have joined forces with Sarah Stevenson and Kriss Akabusi in our bid to make exercise history!

The previous Guinness world record of 353 participants was formerly set by Michelle Bridges (Australia) on the set of NBC’s “Today” in New York, New York, USA on 10 April 2014.
