The Guinness World Records world record for the largest golf facility is Mission Hills Golf Club, China, with twelve 18 hole courses fully operational in December 2006.

Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the largest golf lesson involved 1,073 participants and was organized by Golf PARa Todos, a community initiative of the Mayakoba Golf Classic, at the El Camaleón Golf Course, in Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo, Mexico, on 23 January 2011.

A French team has slashed the Guinness World Record for the fastest hole in golf by a team of four.

France’s team of Raphael Jacquelin, Alex Levy, Gregory Havret and Romain Wattel set a new world record of 34.8 seconds.

The golfers, under the record rules, each played a stroke to score birdie on the par-5 fourth at the Valderrama Golf Club in Spain.

Record rules required the hole to be 500-yards or longer to count.
