- Day: The date of birth is 19. 19 reduces to 10 (1 + 9 = 10), then 1 + 0 = 1
- Year: The year of birth is 1980. 1980 reduces to 18 (1 + 9 + 8 + 0 = 18), then 1 + 8 = 9
- Now add the resulting single-digit numbers: 1 + 1 + 9 = 11, Then 1 + 1 =2
