How To Make Apple Cupcakes

Recipe 1

Ingredients

  • 250 g Apples
  • 2 tsp Lime Juice
  • 1 cup Flour
  • A pinch of Salt
  • ½ tsp Baking Powder
  • ½ tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1/3 cup Oil
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
  • ½ cup Jaggery Powder
  • 1\3 cup Raisins
  • 1\3 cup Walnuts (chopped)

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Grate the apples.
  • Mix the grated apples with lime juice.
  • Sieve together flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda.
  • Beat egg, oil, vanilla essence and jaggery powder together.
  • Add the egg mixture to the flour mixture. Mix well.
  • Add the grated apples to the flour batter.
  • Stir in walnuts and raisins.
  • Pour the batter into greased cupcake molds.
  • Bake the cupcakes for 25 to 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Apples (grated, skin on)
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 2 cups Water
  • 1 cup Butter
  • 2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 2 tsp Nutmeg
  • ½ tsp Cloves (ground)
  • 3½ cups Flour
  • 2 tsp Baking Soda

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Line a muffin tin with cupcake papers.
  • Combine together apples, sugar, water, butter, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves in a large saucepan.
  • Boil the mixture and remove from heat.
  • Cool the mixture and add in flour and baking soda.
  • Fill the cupcake papers with the batter 2/3 fill.
  • Bake the cupcakes for about 20 minutes until the cupcakes spring back when touched in the center.
