Cameroon Airlines was established on 26th July 1971. It started operation in November of the same year. Cameroon Government and Air France jointly own this airline. It is the national airline of Cameroon. Cameroon Airlines is based in Douala, the Douala International Airport. The headquarters is also located in Douala.
Civil aviation authority banned the flights of Cameroon Airlines to France in 2005. However after conducting a technical audit the ban was lifted and again started operating in 2006.
Hub The main hub of Cameroon Airlines is at the Douala International Airport. But it has also got hubs at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Port Bouet Airport, Cote d lvoire, Abidjan.
