Diet Eggs, launched in Sept. 2000 by Kool Komestibles Pvt. Ltd, Bangalore have extra nutritional properties with 19 times more polyunsaturated fatty acids and twice the quantity of vitamin-E compared to traditional eggs, although similar in taste and flavour. These no-odour, cholestrol free eggs are produced by feeding layer birds with a special feed.
