Ingredients: • 1 red onion, sliced shopping list • 1 tbs minced ginger shopping list • 1 cup sliced shiitake mushrooms shopping list • 1 cup spinach shopping list • 1 cup carrots, shredded shopping list • 1 cup chopped chives shopping list • 1 tsp pepper shopping list • 1 tsp sesame oil shopping list • 1 package wonton skins
Instructions: • In a wok or large sauté pan, add a little oil and saute onions and ginger. • Add the mushrooms and stir. Add the spinach, carrots and chives. Season. • When mixture is soft, place in colander to drain. Add the sesame oil when mixture is cooled. Check for seasoning. • Using the wonton skins, make half moon dumplings keeping the bottom flat. • In a large saucepan bring 8 cups water to boiling. • Drop the wontons, one at a time, into boiling water. Simmer, uncovered, about 3 minutes. • Remove from heat and rinse with cold water; drain well |
