A traffic warden refused to let a driver get away without paying a fine by clinging on to the front of his bus as it bombed along a busy road.
Nguyen Manh Phan held on for dear life after refusing to let the law-breaker get away without paying his fixed penalty notice in Hanoi, Vietnam.
Holding onto the 39-seater bus's windscreen wipers, he looked perilously close to falling in front of the vehicle, reports Media.
Passing motorists can be seen hooting their horns either in appreciation or horror at the incident which was filmed by a witness at the scene.
Vietnam police confirmed the bus driver, Phung Hong Phuong, had refused to pay a parking ticket before he made his attempted escape.
He eventually pulled over after being chased by police and concerned residents.
Phuong was arrested for acting against public officials and could face up to three years in prison - having previously served four for a fatal traffic accident. |
