Luxury hotels, residences and a beach club are set to open on Saadiyat Island later this year, with Tourism Development & Investment Company (TDIC) aiming to deliver their projects by the end of 2011.
The announcement was made At Cityscape Abu Dhabi 2011 by Farah Al Bakoush, TDIC's PR co-ordinator who said that several projects on Saadiyat island were scheduled for handover between Q3 and Q4 of 2011.
The St Regis Saadiyat Island Resort which will comprise 380 rooms and eight themed restaurants is scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2011. The majority of the structural work is completed with the restaurants near completion as well. The Residences at St Regis Saadiyat Island Resort are also looking to open this year, with the 32 villas for sale and 259 apartments for lease.
The Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel and Villas will be adjoined to the Saadiyat Beach Golf Course and is scheduled to be completed by Q3 2011, with hopes of it being opened by September or October this year. The external façade of the hotel is already complete.
The Monte Carlo beach club, Saadiyat, spans 39,500 square metres and will be completed in Q3 2011. The final interior and exterior finishes are being installed, while all exterior landscaping is complete.
The Saadiyat Beach Villas will also begin handover later this year, with the Jawaher Al Saadiyat showcase villas already open to the public for viewing. |
