Nupur Mehta said that she had informed the ICC officer that she knew three top Indian players as 'social friends'.

Moreover, she informed Alan Peacock about her 'friendship' with a top Sri Lankan and three top West Indian players as well.

She also claims that few of these have played in the recent IPL 5. However, she categorically denied any wrongdoings and refused to reveal the names.

Reportedly, Nupur Mehta met all the cricketers at different social gatherings and parties. It's a kind of 'social networking, she said.

Earlier, Nupur Mehta’s grabbed the headlines when in March this year London’s The Sunday Times carried a sting story on Delhi bookie.

In the sting, a suspicion was raised on Nupur Mehta that she was being used by bookies as a 'honeytrap' to lure players. Newspaper had carried her blurred image in the published story.
