Stag party pranksters convinced a blindfolded groom he was taking a 50ft bungee jump - then watched him drop three feet into a pond.
The unsuspecting groom stood by the water's edge building up his courage for what he clearly believed was a massive drop.
A fervent crowd of on-lookers and well-wishers began chanting and clapping to encourage the terrified man to take the plunge.
Eventually, he crouched down before launching himself full stretch - only to land immediately in the shallow water.
Whipping his balaclava off after making a splash, the purple-haired groom seemed to see the funny side as he scrambled to dry land.
The video, which was filmed in France, has racked up more than 1.1million hits on YouTube in just a few days. |
