A christmas tree at the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi has set a new Guinness Record as the world's most expensively dressed tree. The tree is decorated with precious gems worth $11.2 million.
The hotel received the Guinness confirmation May 7.
Hans Olbertz, general manager, said: "This is another unique mark by the Emirates Palace and it is our responsibility to ensure its best international presence." |
