East Central Railway (ECR) has decided to run a special bi-weekly train between Patna and Indore (09305-09306) to clear rush of passengers during Durga Puja, Diwali and Chhath festivals. This special train will run from October 3 to November 15. The load combination of this train will be of 18 bogies, including 3AC-2, 12 sleeper and 2 general coaches and 2 brake vans, an ECR official said.
Extra coach: Railways attached an extra coach (chair car) to Patna-Howrah Janshatabdi Express from Friday to cope with rush of passengers during Durga Puja. An extra coach will be attached to this train till October 8.
Retirement benefits: Divisional Railway Manager, Danapur, L M Jha made payment to 52 employees who retired from railway service on Friday. The Railways made payment of about Rs 3.63 crore to these retiring employees. |
