Carlsberg has announced six Christmas trade shows across the country for licensees. Deals from major alcohol and soft drink producers, and other suppliers, will be on offer.
There will be a chance to earn "Carlsberg credits", which can be redeemed for free stock or gifts, and licensees are promised rewards based on the total stock ordered for the Christmas period. Information and advice on Carlsberg's We Deliver More programme will be available.
Licensees are also promised "competitive rates" for new stock ordered for 2011. David Scott, customer marketing director at Carlsberg UK, said: “The Carlsberg UK Christmas Trade Shows are a fantastic opportunity for licensees to come and spend time with a whole host of leading UK suppliers.
"They can get excellent deals for the festive period as well as picking up business building ideas and tips in the new and improved ‘We Deliver More Zone’. “But they are also a demonstration of Carlsberg UK’s commitment to the on-trade. We are now the only national brewer doing anything like this.
"We feel it is important to give something back to our loyal customers. And many of our supplier partners feel the same way.” The events will held at: Haydock Race Course (29 and 30 September); Ricoh Arena, Coventry (4 October); Hand Arena, Bristol (7 October); London's Alexandra Palace (12 October); Headingley Stadium, Leeds (14 October). |
