Sir Jimmy John Thomas did his Masters degree in English Literature from Rajasthan University, Jaipur. This 30yrs old young and dynamic musician of Jaipur has done his Sangeet Visharad in Classical Vocals from Gandharv Maha-Vidhyalaya Mumbai. He is persuing 5th grade in Electronic Keyboard from the Trinty College of Music London.
Learned the basics strokes of music from Late Mr. Madhukar Malvea and Late Mr. H. Collins( Ex Band master in British Navy). Coming from a non music family, he struggled very hard to create a niche for himself in the music fraternity of the state.
His inclination towards music was noticed by his parents, who sent him to learn musical instruments. From a very young age he started performing shows with his teacher who trained him to face and handle the world from the stage.
As a result of his marvellous caliber and potential, he was recruited as a Music Teacher in a school at an early age of 20Yrs. He started training students and till now he has taught more than 5000 students. His fleet students belong to the age group of 4yrs to 70yrs.
He has written various articles on music in newspapers and is interviewed many times by various newspapers and media on diverse occasions.
He does stage shows EVERYDAY in various parts of the state(Rajasthan) and of country.
Being a very good orator and man of wit he has hosted and anchored various shows, conducted quizes, organised talkshows, phone-in programmes etc.
A versatile person who is a Dashing DJ, Wonderful Anchor, Melodious Singer and a Maestro in playing Synthesizer, Guitar, Harmonica, Drums, Piano etc.
He has performed in front of various dignitaries like:-

Ex Chief Minister of Rajasthan Mr. Ashok Gehlot.

4 times certified by the state government as the best band master, he is now working in Delhi Public School Jaipur as TGT in Western Music.
His band has gathered applauds from all over the stretch of India. From the deserts of Rajasthan to the shores of Kerala, you will find his fans waving hands for him.
He got the honour of playing music in the prestigious JAIPUR SAMAROH where a crowd of 3500 people were mesmerized in the waves of music till Mid-Night.
He had composed a song on Jaipur, which was performed by a choir consisting of students from all the schools of jaipur.
He had composed a song on SAVE WATER, which was sung on International Water Day at Jaipur.
He has directed a play on Save Girl Child, which was performed various times at various places/Schools of jaipur.
He has given music to numerous Plays, Skits, Mimes, Doccumentries etc
His mission and vision of life is to create a generation that is well versed in this heavenly language and to spread love, peace and harmony in the minds of people through this noble art of music. |
