Presented by TRAM Theatre, this non-verbal play, with some dialogues in English, tells the story of war as seen through the eyes of a carrier pigeon - Milu.

From the time of his birth, through his training and during the moments spent with his friends and mates, Milu has a singular overriding mission - to successfully deliver the message.

The play follows the pigeon as it becomes part of a war that it neither cares about nor fully comprehends.

In the process, the director turns the mirror towards our own lives, indicating how we, too, have no choice but to become a part of systems that are far bigger and more complex than us.

Using boots, plastic frogs, small globes, and GI Joe figurines, this is an object theatre performance where the story is told with objects, drawings and an actor.

This form of theatre is a sub-genre of puppetry. It lifts everyday objects out of the mundane and lends them a personality.

Directed By: Choiti Ghosh. An Object Theatre practitioner, actor and puppeteer, Ghose started out with theatre for children, first as a performer and than as a facilitator with special interest in drama and an alternate education.

The venue lest the theatre group have multi-level interactions with the local inhabitants of the well known puppeteer colony. The studio has been divided into three parts - the terrace for rehearsals; the top floor flat serves as the office, library and workshop; and the ground floor is for black box theatre. Over time, the studio will host a variety of activities - from workshops and exhibitions to curated poetry readings, dance performances and stage shows!
