| This weekend, attend a truly magnificient rock opera in Delhi marking the golden jubilee celebrations of Mount St. Mary's School, Delhi Cantt. This Andrew Lloyd Webber masterpiece, that's been a phenomenonal hit, not just at Broadway and London Westend but across the world, is directed by George Pulinkala, who hasgiven Delhi many Broadway musicals and rock operas such as Fiddler on The Roof, Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat, The Wizard of Oz and Evita, to name just a few. A two-hour extravaganza, the musical features 500 students with exotic dances, alluring costumes and a brilliant portrayal of Jesus' agony and suffering, Judas' guilt and Mary Madeline's pure love. The entire panorama of life's mystery is flashed in seconds, through this amazing performance. A mammoth, multi-level stage is being put up at the school grounds for this magnum opus.
