They say love is blind and when it is so, there is blind trust as well. But when trust is shaken, it means love is tested. This play explores these core elements of a happy married life through its fast paced, humourous story telling with a dash of Bollywood style singing and dancing in Gujarati. Hemal Shah, a 40 year old successful diamond merchant, accidentally met Hemali Shah, a thriller novelist, ten years back at a resort in Munnar where they fell in love and got married. As a tribute to their meeting place, they made it a point to celebrate every anniversary at the same resort. This year they are at the hotel to celebrate their tenth wedding anniversary. Despite the fact that the hotel is being renovated, they have been put up in their favorite suite because of their close ties with the owner. Here a Malyali staff member, Satyen Manikutta, who is trying to learn Gujarati, misunderstands Hemali's instruction of looking after Hemal to spying on Hemal. Manikutta gives the so called evidence of Hemal's betrayal to Hemali which plants a seed of doubt into the thriller novelist's mind. This expands into a huge web of jealousy, anger, and betrayal, which leads Hemali to reach a point where she is willing to murder her own husband on their tenth wedding anniversary.
