A dance dialogue in Bharatanatyam depicting the two most powerful women in Indian mythology namely Sita and Draupadi. The dance drama represents the twin concepts of power and compassion throughout the two characters' lives through the medium of Bharatanatyam. The drama unfolds through conversations between Sita and Draupadi where they reveal their innermost secrets. The script is in English and the dance is interspersed between the dialogues. See the birth of Sita and Draupadi, their marriages, Draupadi's loyalty to her five husbands, yet her special affection for Arjuna, Sita's single - minded devotion to Rama, Draupadi's humiliation in the court where an attempt is made by the Kauravas to disrobe her, Sita's abduction by Ravana and more... The music is composed and sung by renowned Carnatic musician OS Arun who is supported by dancers Nandita Kalaan, Aneesha Grover, Ishita Matharu, Supriya Malik, Abhimanyu Sharma. The dance is choreographed and written by Jyotsna Shourie. Entry free, on first - come first - serve basis.
