| This western music recital features Wlodzimierz Prominski (I Violin), Andrzej Kordykiewicz (II Violin), Piotr Reichert (Viola) and Roman Hoffmann (Cello). Since its inception in 1984, the Camerata Quartet has come a long way and has been awarded at internationally renowned music competitions and has performed across Europe, Japan and the USA. The Quartet initially studied under Professor Eberhard Feltz at the Hans Eisler Hochschule for Musik in Berlin, subsequently attending master classes conducted by Emanuel Hurwitz, Kurt Lewin and Fyodor Druzhynin. Its association with the world famous Amadeus Quartet contributed towards its further refinement. Though the Ensemble's repertoire is essentially based on classical and romantic literature, the quartet also plays contemporary music. The Camerata Quartet has a considerable number of critically acclaimed recordings to its credit. |
