 Lallan ji lives in Allahabad though he belongs to the Bhojpuri region. He is deeply interested in research on music and keeps traveling to dig out forms which are not sung or remembered by too many people.
Apart from performing on a regular basis, he also teaches folk music- passing on some of his vast collection.
