What is a Black Corner Notice?A Black Corner Notice is one of the seven major types of notices issued by Interpol to its member countries to share information related to criminal investigation. Six of these are known by the colour in which the Interpol logo is printed, different colours denoting notices carrying different types of information. The Black Corner Notice contains information related to unidentified dead bodies, specifically those related to individuals suspected to have died while using a false identity. This notice, like other types of notices, is issued in a fixed format and carries photographs of the dead body, time and circumstances related to its discovery, distinguishing features of the body, etc. The other types of Interpol notices known by their colours are red, blue, green, yellow, and orange corner notices. The seventh notice is United Nations Security Council Special Notice.
