Francal Feiras, considered as one of the largest business events promoting companies in Latin America, is recognized for the high quality and seriousness of all events it organizes. Its history started more than 40 years ago, when a group of businessmen from the shoe industry in the city of Franca (SP), the most important male shoes industrial pole in the Country, joined to create a fair to promote local industries.
Franca’s shoe fair was born then, under the name FRANCAL – SHOE FAIR. The event’s first edition was held in 1969 and it remained in the city of Franca until 1982. With its continuous growth and diffusion at the national level, Franca’s shoe fair moved to the city of Sao Paulo in order to expand and offer a more adequate infrastructure to visitors and exhibitors.
Its first edition in Sao Paulo, in 1983, was held at the Hilton Hotel, and that was the first step towards the growth of its activities as a business fairs promoting company. By achieving greater visibility in the capital of the state of Sao Paulo, the company started to be contacted by representative entities from other economic segments, which were looking for a partnership to promote their respective sectors.
And that was how Francal started to move to new activities, which have turned it into a company specialized in the organization and promotion of business fairs, not only in the shoe sector, but also to many other industrial and commercial sectors. Today, 40 years later, the fairs and events in Francal Feiras’ portfolio are considered important tools to strengthen the many different segments of the national economy.

Corporate Social Responsibility
FRANCAL CITIZENSHIP
A pioneer among the Brazilian business event promoting companies to adopt Corporate Social Responsibility practices, Francal Feiras created Francal Citizenship in 2003. Currently, this branch of the company deals with social and environmental issues, by promoting the social inclusion of handicapped people in the labor market, and supporting educational projects, among dozens of other actions directed to its internal audiences and to local communities.

Company Estrutural Montagens, founded in 1985, is part of Francal Feiras e Empreendimentos’ group. Specialized in the assembly of events of all sizes, it uses the “octanorm” assembly system. It services the national market with a trained team by using the most modern technologies, offering special and differentiated projects, with an assembly capacity per event of up to 15 thousand m². It has its own headquarters, with 2,2 thousand m² in Sao Paulo, besides an area with 3 thousand m² dedicated to woodwork, steelwork and painting. Renowned as one of the main companies specialized in events’ assembly, it is responsible for all events organized by Francal Feiras and also individually services other promotion agencies and companies.
