On the forthcoming Father's Day, Delhiites are planning big surprises for their fathers to shower them with a little of the boundless love and affection that they have received from their fathers. Dr 24, who has just started practising in her clinic can't stop praising her father's contributions in her life. She says, "I had been studying in Mangalore for the past five years and had no chance of celebrate Father's Day in my dad's company, but this time I have a different plan for him. I am going to throw the big bash for him. I am going to surprise him by inviting all of our close acquaintances. He managed my education against all odds. Today, I want to thank him in my own little way by planning a small party for him."
Fathers' importance can never be underrated. That's why Father's Day is celebrated over the world with great fervour and passion, says Raj Rajoria, a businessman. He has some lavish plans to surprise his dad this father's day. He mentions, "Last year I surprised my dad by getting his room renovated. This year, I am going to gift him a luxury car. My father has a passion for cars but he had been reluctant to have it for a long time due to financial crunch, but now I plan to gift him his dream car which he so wanted to have."
Avni Prakash, 25, a bank manager plans to surprise her father by sending him on a vacation. "My father is fond of visiting new places; I plan to gift him a travel voucher," says Avni.
