He may not cuddle or hug you the way your mom does, but he sure is the one who can read your eyes, and listen to your heart. For all the love and blessings he has showered on you in his most inimitable way, a father definitely deserves nothing, but the best. This Father’s Day (June 19), give him what he truly deserves.

In most families fathers are the unsung heroes who rarely get their fair share of adulation despite the very significant role they play in the lives of their children. While mothers love to fuss over their children, fathers try to do the balancing by playing disciplinarian. This makes them a little unpopular with children but once they grow up that their fathers always stood behind them like a rock and inculcated in them qualities and habits that make them better human beings.

Sheetal Mahant, a college goer says, "I wanted to gift my father something grand; so I have bought a nice watch for him."

Rakesh Saini, a seventh standard school student wants to please his father by gifting him flowers and chocolates. He says, "The value of gift is in the sentiments behind it. By gifting flowers and chocolates I want to add sweetness and fragrance in my father's life. It would be nice to gift chocolates to someone who’s always gifted me chocolates on all my big and small achievements."
