Veteran artist and renowned printmaker Anupam Sud presents a solo show of rare drawings and watercolours which also include a large body of intimate sketches right from her college days till more recent times, drawn behind invitation cards, in her personal sketchbook and on random pieces of paper. Sud's work ranges from monochromatic etchings to watercolours and monumental canvas paintings - the works on view offer a thread of continuity between each method. In making public her sketches and drawings, she offers us an insight into how she has developed her figurative lexicon over the years. |
