The Japan Foundation presents an exhibition of Japan's heritage in three parts. This week, see the first part of the exhibition - 'Kyoto Heritage' - a display of pictures of some historic monuments of ancient Kyoto (Kyoto City, Uji City and Otsu City). Kyoto is the most ancient heritage city of Japan. The remarkable series of photographs have been captured by lensman Kazuyoshi Miyoshi who has also extensively documented Maldives, Tahiti, Africa, India and in recent years, the Himalayas and Antarctic Pole. |
