| | Select City walk and Khoj International Artists' Association are hosting two diverse and equally interacting art events. The first, 'Shikaar: The Hunt', is an innovative treasure hunt with artworks by Aastha Chauhan, Atul Bhalla, Cynthia Zaven, Ingrid Hora, Navjot Altaf and Prajakta Potnis. Curated by Gitanjali Dang, the treasure hunt draws parallels between hunting and gathering. It involves a hunt for the artworks that have been scattered across the mall site. Clue maps will guide the participants to the artworks and lucky winners will get prizes.
The second event is titled 'Bhogi/Rogi (Consumption/Disease)', an interactive video sculpture by Sheba Chhachhi, created in technical collaboration with Thomas Eichhorn. See how it offers the viewer an experience of himself as constituted and transformed by what she/he 'consumes'-food, products, words. It explores the relationship between consumption and production. And how it effects each one of us... |
